    Twelve (12) per season, Statewide
    No more than ten (10) may be antlerless and no more than two (2) may be antlered. One of the antlered deer must have at least 4 points, one inch or longer, on one side of the antlers.
    Firearms deer hunting is not allowed in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton (north of GA Hwy. 92), and that portion of Glynn county lying within Jekyll Island. In the portion of Forsyth county south of GA Hwy. 20, only shotguns and muzzleloaders may be used (no other firearms allowed). In Hancock, Harris, Meriwether, Montgomery, Randolph, Talbot and Troup counties, only antlered bucks with at least 4 points on either side are legal. In Dooly and Macon counties, antlered bucks must have a minimum 15- inch outside spread.
    Either sex deer dates are listed in the Hunting Seasons & Regulations publication and at www.gohuntgeorgia.com.
    Two (2) per season; provided, however, that no more than one (1) of which may be taken from the Southern/Central Bear Zones.

    FIREARMS DEER SEASON
    (OCT. 19-JAN. 1)
    Buck only except during either sex days. Fulton (north of GA Hwy 92) and all of Clayton, Cobb, and DeKalb Counties are CLOSED to firearms deer hunting. In the portion of Forsyth County lying south of GA Hwy 20, archery equipment, shotguns and muzzleloading firearms only (no other firearms allowed).

    Either Sex Days on Chattahoochee & Oconee National Forests
    Either sex days on National Forest lands differ from county regulations.

    Chattahoochee NF (lands east of I-75): Oct. 26, Nov. 9, and Nov. 30
    Chattahoochee NF (lands west of I-75): Same as county either-sex days.
    Oconee NF: Oct. 26-27, Nov. 28-30, Dec. 26-Jan. 1
